Testing Efficiency of Building Materials & Designs

Victor Zaderej describes new approaches to maximizing energy efficiency and how it's being quantified with instrumentation from Oak Ridge National Laboratories. Especially interesting is a discussion of the use of phase-change materials in insulation to multiply the effective R value. Taped August 8, 2010 at the Illinois Renewable Energy Association's Energy Fair at Oregon, Illinois.
