An Experimental Green Roof Using Native Prairie
Patricia Armstrong of Prairie Sun Consultants and her husband Chuck install a green roof and photovoltaic solar panels on the roof of their Naperville, Illinois home. Most green roofs employ dry-tolerant plants like sedums, but Pat experiments with the addition of midwest prairie flowers and grasses.
